(LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2004)- The Nailtini line of lacquers were made to be cocktailed! Follow the guidelines below or whip up your own interpretation of your favorite drink.
Step #1: Shot of Vodka A dual-purpose product, Vodka is both base and top coat. Apply first.
Step #2: Shade-Altering Mixers Espresso: To deepen and intensify any shade of Straight Up Color, apply one coat of Espresso Mixer before applying any color. Cream: To lighten and brighten Straight Up Color, apply one coat of Cream Mixer before applying any color.
Step #3: Straight Up Color After applying mixer, layer two coats of Straight Up Color. After each coat dries (3 to 4 minutes), twist open a bottle of Nailtini toppers or skip ahead to the Garnish Book. See what's on tap below.
Step #4: Special-Effect Toppers Vodka: clear shine Chilled: matte finish with hint of shimmer On the Rocks: chunky, silver glitter Spritzer: shimmering golden glow Blue Flame: sheer, blue iridescence Crushed Ice: silver-white sparkle For different finishes and textures, apply one coat of Nailtini topper to any completely dry nail cocktail. (To keep brush in prime condition, wipe on paper towel after each nail before replacing in bottle.) Let dry 4 to 5 minutes before sealing with Vodka or applying Garnish.
Step #5: Garnish Book Cocktail Napkin: Concentric square. Ice: Stack of cubes. Twist: A twisted ribbon. Fizz: Three ascending bubbles. Coaster: A perfect circle. Swizzle Stick: One straight line, please. Wedge: Classic, half-moon French manicure guides. To garnish any nail cocktail, apply selected stencil smoothly over any completely dry polished or bare nail. Apply one even heavy coat of lacquer. Carefully peel away stencil and top with a coat of Vodka topper to seal. Cheers!
